Hailey Nuthals Shown to me after a friend went to a show, this album makes me remember being 16 and punk in the Midwest. The sound, however, is much better than my 16-and-punk days, and the lyrics are concise, unapologetic, and well-timed. Each song is distinct, and each instrumental voice can be heard without muddying the overall sound. A great listen for anyone vaguely interested in punk or alternative. Favorite track: Lemon Pledge.

I’ve decided to stop fighting it, stop trying to be right, Cause I know you’ll never accept that But I know you won’t give up without a fight And that serves as a major setback But I’m determined to quit this game I’m giving up while I’m ahead But I won’t just run away now, no I have one burning question instead: Darling, what happened to sportsmanship? I’ve decided to stop trying to reason with you Because I can’t take this anymore And if you won’t try to reason with me Then I’m walking out that door Won’t you please let me be free Because I don’t care now But I can’t seem to let myself leave I guess I don’t know how Darling, oh darling, what happened to sportsmanship? Darling, what happened to sportsmanship?

so you think you know me, but you haven't scratched the surface yet. so you think you've got me trapped but I haven't even broken a sweat. no no no, no I haven't. and I'm not going to give into what it is you want. here we go in a circle again, always making the same old mistakes. but I'm determined to break out of this cycle no matter what it takes. so I've broken out of this and I'm running away way too fast. but I hope it's not too late for me to make this friendship last. no no no, no it isn't. but you keep wanting the same goddamn things out of me and I will not give into you, no I won't! here we go in a circle again always making the same old mistakes. but I'm determined to break out of this cycle no matter what it takes. because I need to break out of this vicious cycle for both our goods, I'm sorry if you get hurt in the process, my intentions were all good. here we go in a circle again always making the same old mistakes. but I'm determined to break out of this cycle no matter what it takes.
